"Call a plumber, call a surgeon, call a barber. They all do jobs you shouldn't do yourself. Speaking of job #1, henceforth, I will call Canada Plumbing. The company did a good job, a clean one, and they made good decisions on parts. They explained the work thoroughly without talking-down. Cory, from Canada Plumbing, blessedly replaced the shower hose, including the cobra-thing that spits out water (funny I did that three-weeks ago), and the faucet below, which had seized up. The new parts seemed good quality to me. Showering will now be a luxury instead of something analogous to washing the dog indoors. Same deal with the kitchen sink, or rather faucet, which was leaking in mysterious, increasingly dangerous patterns. I knew it needed replacing. I did it myself 15-years ago. This time I didn't feel like exhausting my lexicon of four-letter words in the first couple of hours of a 30-hour haul, broken by visits to Home Depot. Cory from Canada Plumbing started at 9:15am and was done and wiped-up by 11am. Pleasant surprise: both jobs totaled less than $500. Bathroom PLUS kitchen including all parts, labor and whatever. Canada Plumbing had come well-recommended and it goes well-recommended."
